Let the derby countdown commence! 3 Days till the 1st ever Roller Derby World Cup in Toronto Canada, and 6 days till our more humble but still spectacular bout I Love Block ‘n Roll. I am so excited to be playing that day, my first time as a Harbour Harlot in front of the general public :) I will be trying to post a derby picture a day till the event. This one was taken at the last bout I took part in Super Troopers (mixed team) vs Stockholm (B team). It was such a fun bout and great experience! Seems that i still have to learn how to skate in the right direction though!!Photo courtesy of blackteaphotography.com

Although I love doing i get fed up doing any one thing for a long time. Originally did 6 and sent them to a show in Copenhagen. Unfortunately the post office kindly lost them. I have never seen them again. Gonna try and make an effort to do more and this time keep them for a show. This is the first of what will hopefully be many. All praise goes to Marvel’s amazing pencil and ink men. Especially Jack Kirby, King of Comics. This image was mainly sourced from Hulk covers but I also threw in some other familiar patterns and pieces. I hope you enjoy. Here’s a link to a gallery of the other ones I have done  Super good!!

Great piece about Roller Derby, this time focus is on our Welsh friends the Tiger Bay Brawlers :) Really nicely broken down if you still don’t know what Roller Derby is (shame on you!)
