The first houses built on Kingsdown may have been round ones like this. The local residents 4000 years ago were a Celtic tribe called the Dobunni. Where no one has built houses over the top of them you can sometimes still see the marks they left in the landscape, just like those marks your wine glass leaves on the kitchen table.
